I translate for busy readers. To compete for their attention, my writing has to be tight. The who, what, when, where, why, and how must be immediately clear. I follow the latest and most respected style guides, master the nuances of grammar and vocabulary, use short, logical sentences, and write in the active voice. And I only translate into my native language, French.

I earned a Master’s degree in translation from a recognized institution (Industrie de la langue et traduction spécialisée, University of Paris 7) in 2001. For nearly two decades I have continued to build on this foundation through courses in translation and copywriting and continuing education in the industries I serve.
As a member of two national professional translator associations, the Institute of Translation and Interpreting (UK), and the Société française des traducteurs (France), I have made a commitment to uphold their respective codes of ethics and professional conduct. I also carry professional liability insurance with Allianz.
Over the past two decades, I have developed a network of professional translators spanning virtually all language pairs and areas of expertise. If I am not the best person for your project, I will say so. I can also recommend a qualified colleague on request.
